This course is designed to provide the entire basic core content to providing a victim with the right tools. Included in this is knowing how to set your tank, rigging your 02 meter and adjustments, storage and proper use of air masks, fitting and adjusting the mask.

9-1-1 SAFETY AWARENESS AND EDUCATION

This is an informational course guided by lecture on how to use your local emergency number while providing the most critical information. As part of the nations 3rd largest emergency network we instruct local schools, churches, day cares, scout troops, and many civic organizations. This comes with all the right stuff to let our youth know how important it is to make the right call! All books, videos, handouts, coloring guides and posters are free when receiving course instruction.
 
ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
 
This course will let you know that attitude is everything to prevention. This will help you in conducting proper techniques and interviewing skills with witnesses. Provided is the tools to create your own investigation reports and procedures from hiring and training to the accident. Did you know that on Monday morning what time accidents occur or what day of the week you most likely will have a heart attack?

AED-CPR TRAINING

This course contains all the information on how to use and maintain the automated external defibrillator. This course compliments the advanced first aid course as well CPR for the Professional Health Care Provider

BACK INJURY PREVENTION

This course teaches proper lifting techniques and exercises while getting ready to lift that box. This is an excellent course for those employees who are at high risk for injury. This can be used to help fight those insurance costs. Did you know most states require that once a person has been out over 30 days or had surgery from a back injury they are required by law to show proof that they have taken a preventive course on proper education on lifting before they can return back to work?

BABY SITTERS COURSE

This course will instruct any one over the age of 8 to properly administer the Emergency 9-1-1 system and care for any children during normal babysitting and during emergency care. 

BLOOD BORNE PATHOGENS- PREVENTION PROGRAM

Annual Training, 29 CFR 1910.1030  This course will train individuals in the workplace to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations, and how to recognize and care for life-threatening emergencies such as sudden illness, injuries sustaining blood lose. OSHA mandated this course in 1992 to help curb the spread of diseases and infectious materials. You have a friend bleeding from the arm; your not sure if the friend has AIDS HEPATITIS, and what do you use to protect you from contact?

BOATER SAFETY

This course includes hands on with life preservers, BCD's, and other floatation equipment. It provides information with regards to Coast Guard Regulations, Fire Extinguisher, First Aid Kit, Emergency communication, Emergency locator, Flare Gun, Emergency Raft and survival techniques. How many floatation devices do you need if six people, two of which are young children, in the boat?

Coaches First Aid for Sports Injuries

This course includes CPR-Adults-Children-Infants, Advanced First Aid with Trauma Care, Prevention of Disease Transmittal. This course presents several situations in which Coaches, assistant Coaches, Trainers, Band Directors, Cheer Leader Escorts must respond. This is NEW LAW in most states effective September 1st, 1999 in Texas. With out this Course you may loose your schools sports program until compliance has been met. 

CPR-ADULT

This course will teach you how to perform rescue breathing, CPR, choking procedures both conscious and unconscious, how to respond and when to call 9-1-1. Did you know that by the time you reach the age of 30 you could have already had a stroke and didn't know it, or did you just ignore the signs?

CPR-INFANT-CHILD

This course will teach you how to perform rescue breathing, CPR, choking procedures both conscious and unconscious, how to respond and when to call 9-1-1. Did you know that own a child/infant you perform CPR first then call 9-1-1, and how long do you perform skills till you call? When do you use your heel of hand and when do you use you two fingers to perform CPR?

CPR-PUBLIC

This course combines all three CPR courses Adult, Child, Infant. This course is designed to teach you how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, choking and what steps to use, and how to protect your family from house hold injuries. Can you guess how you child proof your home? How do you know when to call 9-1-1 on someone you think is having a heart attack when they refuse help? This can be taught. We can show you a way to REMEMBER CPR FOR LIFE: NO ONE ELSE can offer this guarantee.

CPR- PROFESSIONAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDER

Professionals require a more extensive rescuer course. This course is designed to teach how to use either bag-valve-mask breathing devices. This includes two-person rescue, 02, rescue techniques, immobilization's and protocols. This is a great hands on program to be used in the field. It's recommended that the individual also receive advance first aid training to compliment this course.

DIVER TRAINING

We offer the best in diving instruction through P.A.D.I. Our Dive Master will help you learn the skills to master open water. During this you will learn how to respond to emergencies, use timetables to determine how long  you can dive before the fun ends. We encourage partners for this course so you both can enjoy that trip to Cozumel, Belize or Hawaii! Remember this course is about 120% safety.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

This course is designed to train individuals who have a responsibility to react with the necessary steps to help reduce injuries and minimize any sudden emergencies, while protecting the victim and rescuer from further harm.

EYE WASH AND EYE WASH STATION

 This course is designed to instruct and teach how to use and install proper eye washing procedures and to protect the employee from further eye irritants and dangers.        

F.E.M.A. DISASTER PREPAREDNESS

The list of preparedness courses will improve your ability to survive natural disasters before they strike including knowing how to prepare with emergency kits, survival rations, planning evacuations, medical emergencies plus how to survive the after math. Through several levels of courses  you can achieve your desired level of involvement in your community.  Included is a complete list of all agencies to contact for assistance after the crisis. Most all F.E.M.A. courses are free to take on-line and some required senior level of instruction assistance. 

FIRE EXTINGUISHER-THE RIGHT KNOW-HOW

This course offers individuals the chance to use a fire extinguisher on a real fire and learn how fires can reignite after they seem out. Included are the basic rules P.A.S.S., stop, drop and role and how to escape a fire when trapped? Can you name the three key ingredients needed for a fire?
FIRE SAFETY AND PREVENTION-DO'S AND DON'TS NFPA
 
This course teaches individuals how to react when a fire does arise and how to escape. We teach how to make a fire plan and evacuation plan so that lives can be saved. We show why some fire detection equipment is better than others and why saving pennies cost millions in lives being lost every year. Do you know how far down from your ceiling your smoke detector should be?

FIRST AID PUBLIC SAFETY

This course combines all three levels of CPR and First Aid Basic. This can be taught to individuals as well groups. This is recommended if you're in a position to respond for a co-worker, or company picnic. Its teaches the rules of how not to panic. Most people panic and don't get involved. Do you know what the odds of your family becoming a victim and needing help are?

FIRST AID-ADVANCED

This course will enhance your previous training with all the same materials plus learning how to perform extrications using half boards, full boards, c-collars. This will also include how to use a head immobilizer, combination carrier, HIV awareness course, decontamination protocols. Do you know what four ingredients you need to spread HIV/AIDS from a victim to a rescuer?

FIRST AID-BASIC

This course will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills including, Bleeding, both internal external, Shock, Burns-1st, 2nd, 3rd degree, Nose Injuries including bleeding and broken, Bites, Stings, Splinters, Fractures, Sprains, Strains, Poisoning-Internal, Swallowed, Absorbed, Inhaled, Diabetes-Hypoglycemia Hyperglycemia, Seizures, Heat Stroke, Heat Exhaustion, Snake Bites, Medications, Fire Extinguishers. This core knowledge is essentially the foundation to taking a more advanced course. What is the key ingredient in treating burns of any degree?

FIRST AID FOR COACHES

This course covers first aid treatment to include treatment of injuries for broken bones, splinting, sprains, dislocations, Coaches responsibilities before and after the injury, Tissue damages, emergency rescue breathing techniques, surgical injuries, boarding and transporting. A player falls to the ground after being hit in football and is unconscious, how do you treat the injured person?

FORK LIFT OPERATIONS

This course will instruct a complete driving course with obstacles for each operator and show how to operate in a safe environment. Included is a height/lift guide for weight ratios. When is it not safe to life?

FORK LIFT SAFETY

This course teaches the operator how change out gas cylinders, fuel, and inspect each tractor for mechanical failures. It includes a lock out tag out program with inspection reports to be filed, driving course, safety equipment checklist. What three operational items are required to use each forklift?

HEALTH AND SAFETY FIRE PREVENTION & DISEASE PREVENTION

This course requires several prerequisites to be completed for certification, CPR-Adult/Children/Infants, Blood Borne Pathogens, Fire Prevention, Fire Extinguishers and Basic First Aid.

This course provides employee and employers with proper MSDS sheets on properly disposing of cartridge from toner, correction fluid, and batteries to rags soaked with cleaning fluids. Proper evaluation of each condition determines if you're in OSHA compliance or in violation. You change out your copier toner cartridge, you decide to throw it the regular trash can, if any, how many OSHA, EPA violations can you be sited for?

SCBA-THE RIGHT FIT-    OSHA REGS. 29CFR1910.134(A)(2)      

This course is designed to teach individuals how to use and place the personal Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus. It will show how to properly fit a mask and how to change out cartridges while in a contaminated area. How do you know when the air outside your mask in breathable?

SEARCH AND RESCUE-LAKES

This course is designed to introduce the rescuer to the water and all of its hidden hazards. Actual water searches are used to in act realism on how difficult it is to find a person in water. Among the strength it takes to perform this you'll be taught how not to panic and to use your own trust in your equipment and co-workers. In a lake you drop your watch, would it be in the same place tomorrow?

SEARCH AND RESCUE-LAND

This course is designed to be the initial basics of the who, what, when, where and how of finding a person, pet, or treasure. This will show you how to search any building for clues, signs and unusual items. You will learn how to secure, communicate by signal, by radio to other rescuers. Your on the 2nd floor of a burn building and your trying to signal another rescuer on the 1st floor, your radio battery is dead, what do you use?

SEARCH AND RESCUE-SEA

This course is similar to the lake rescue. Now all your objects move, you move, how do you know where you're located? Can you find that item that fell over board? The water is dirty and you need to look for a specific object, what tools do you use? These are talked about, used, and found in any rescue operation. You're diving at night looking for car upside down, what clues do you use on top of the water to find the vehicle?

SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME

This course identifies important information for new parents and care givers who need to know how Shaken Baby Syndrome occurs. At what age would think this effects your child? 

SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME

This course will make aware the different cause on how young children die in there sleep. One of the keys issues to be aware of is the fact that parents aren't sure what position to lay they child to sleep. The one thing makes this course a critical issue. For more than thousand years this way has worked and now they tell us to try something new. 

SITTER SAFETY-WHO'S WATCHING YOUR CHILD 

This course will provide young adults with the right responsibility to know how to react in an emergency. Knowing how to care for a child or infant with respect to using toys safely, playing safely and watching out for safety. Does your sitter know when to call 9-1-1 or call you during an emergency?

SPORTS MEDICINE RESPONDER

This course is designed to help with your sport active player, football, soccer, tennis, basketball, baseball etc… All skills include rescue breathing, CPR, shock, injury assessment, broken bones, splinting, fractures, sprains, strains, administering O2. This will also help in achieving that extra commitment to player safety. When do you add ice or heat for a sprain? Shoes off or shoes on with sprained ankle?

S.T.A.R.T. -SPECIALTY TRAINED ALERT READINESS TEAM

The S.T.A.R.T. team employs employees from a specific work area in order to respond to an emergency when local emergency response and/or hospitals are farther away than 15 minutes. OSHA sets this standard for employers who have a potential concern for injuries. This course covers several above listed courses for its prerequisite. Employee falls off a two-foot ladder and you think there leg is broke, do you splint, treat for shock, call 9-1-1/EMS or wait for another person to show up and make the call?
